About CommitteeHQ

CommitteeHQ is built by Out West AI Pty Ltd, an Australian-owned software company based in North West Queensland, between Richmond and Julia Creek, in the kind of towns this product is made for.

Out here, the show society, the race club, the QCWA branch and the campdraft committee are run by volunteers who also have day jobs, properties and families. Between them they have it all covered. The minutes on a laptop, a Google Drive somebody set up three years ago, a Dropbox for the photos, the receipts in a box in the office. Every one of those was the sensible thing to do at the time. The trouble is that each of them belongs to whoever set it up, not to the committee. So when the secretary changes, half of it doesn't change hands. We built CommitteeHQ because we sit on these committees ourselves and wanted the admin to take Tuesday evening, not the whole weekend.

What we believe

  • Your data is yours. Committee records belong to the committee. Export them any time, and they transfer with the role when office bearers change hands.
  • Built for volunteers. If a feature needs a manual, it isn't finished. Everything is designed for people who touch it once a month.
  • Australian owned and hosted. Your committee's information is held in Australia, under Australian privacy law, by a company you can actually reach.

Talk to us

We answer our own support email: contact@committeehq.com.au, or use the contact form. If your committee is in North West Queensland, there's a fair chance we'll see you at your next event anyway.
